Thank you
Springfield cop and his furry partner are “Top Dog” again after a regional competition.
For the second year in a row, Patrolman Jeff Coker and his K9 partner, Kilo, placed first overall in the regional United States Police Canine Association trials at the Springfield Police Academy, beating out 30 other K9 teams.
Coker and Kilo placed first in the evidence search, suspect search, and the criminal apprehension with no gun fire events. They placed third in agility.
The two have been together for three and a half years, and they’ve built up a lot of trust.
“It’s actually very relieving knowing that you have a K9 in your vehicle with you,” Coker said. “He’s an extra set of eyes that can look outside the vehicle, and plus, his nose is unbelievable what he can actually do for us and the department as a whole.”
Coker and Kilo have qualified for the national competition, and they’ll be taking their skills to Wilson, North Carolina for the week of October 19-24 to compete against other K9 teams from across the country.
Springfield Police officers Ryan Maddox, Timothy Day, Ronald Howard and their dogs also qualified for nationals.
Thank you
Ronald Howard
Just wanted to give you an update on Abby. She has gone for her first annual and I would like to share some of the comments from the vet:
“Nice straight ears”
“Good sit”
“Beautiful teeth”
“Good skin and coat”
“Excellent body shape, very athletic”
I had her have a complete blood panel…everything is normal.
I no longer worry about her eating, I’ve introduced “raw” into her diet in the form of freeze-dried.
She is a great dog: sweet, loveable, protective, obedient, a great watch dog. She is just the perfect dog. Wish I was closer so I could have her better trained. I took your advise and did not have her spayed.
Congratulations on your expansion.
Regards,
Pat Farley
I’m writing to tell you and your customers about my experience with Mace’s Malinois.
About three weeks ago I started searching for a protection dog online. I sent dozens of emails to dozens of different companies advertising fully trained protection dogs for sale. I might have received two or three responses after several days of waiting. I spoke to the owner of one such company who asked me a few questions about what I was looking for in a protection dog. He boasted to me about his $20,000 dollar dogs and said for any less than $20,000 I was throwing my money away. It was not a long conversation. To this very day I have not received another response from any of the “other guys”.
Luckily I stumbled upon your website and saw Titan (Xenon von der Eichendorfschule). At this point I had already begun to lose hope of ever finding a dog in my price range. I sent you a very short email inquiry, “How much?”. I think you responded back within an hour.
What I immediately liked about our phone conversation was your honesty about Titan and your business practices.
I found you to be honest and blunt about Titan. I knew he was a special dog to you personally. You explained how you give away breeding females after six years for the simple fact you would rather see the dogs enjoy a life with a family than be breed until the day they die. While not a profitable choice, it is the right thing to do. I challenge anyone to find a breeder who is more compassionate about their dogs than you are.
Back to Titan… After we came to an incredible agreement, I spent the next two weeks making a few trips down to the kennel to work with Titan under you and Margaret’s close supervision. I pity the people who buy dogs and do not get the one-on-one attention I got from two trainers as experienced as you and Margaret.
Fast-forward to today. I met you at the kennel as usual. I worked with Titan for a few minutes and you offered to follow me home with Titan (a 2 hour drive). You brought Titan into my home and reiterated all the mistakes I should avoid to make the transfer a success. After you left we played with the balls in the backyard for a little while. I have done exactly as you instructed. I put Titan in his crate and left the house for about 30 minutes. I came back to find Titan calmly laying in his crate just as I left him. I have Titan on a slip lead in the house as you suggested, but it doesn’t seem needed as he never leaves my side. As I write this review, Titan is very quietly and calmly laying at my feet. He is the epitome of “mans best friend”. Titan is everything I have ever wanted in a dog and much more than I thought I would be able to afford. He is so gentle and well behaved. If I had not seen his protective capabilities for myself I would never believe it was the same dog. After being at our house for only a few hours he was already protective over me. I walked him in the yard tonight and he saw my own shadow against the side of the house and started to growl at my shadow which he thought was a strange man. I knew right then Titan would protect us without fail.
Prior to meeting you I foolishly believed all dogs were basically the same. I now know what a difference good breeding makes. I had to see it to believe it.
I’m looking forward to many years of friendship between us as we continue Titan’s training and breeding. Someday in several years I will ask you to set one of Titan’s puppies aside for me so I never lose his bloodline.
Obviously I’m blown away with the entire experience and can’t say enough good things about you and your dogs. I’ll never go anywhere else for a dog.
Many thanks
Mike and Jessie Mason
I’m one of the students that attended the Tom Rose School and bought two puppies from you earlier this year. I did incredibly well with both of them while in school, graduating at the top of my class in both the Professional and Master trainer courses. I achieved some of the highest obedience scores they have seen in a long time with such young dogs. If you’re interested in seeing a promo video that was made of me and the two pups for my new business check out this youtube link.
The older one, with the darker mask, was born 10/25/13 out of Jasta and Cairo, and the younger, lighter colored one was born 12/16/13 out of Wassam and Kelly. They are both females, and in the video they are 10 months and 8 months old respectively.
Thanks

Buying my belgian malinois Arko from you was honestly the best decision I made. First off you made the process very easy and smooth. You were very honest and upfront and I loved that. You breed very strong, solid and sociable dogs. The transition bringing him home was effortless due to the first 8 weeks he was with you. His energy and driven were exactlly what you told me they’d be. I am beyond excited with my future with him as we go through training and he gets his schutzhund/ipo title!! Again, I couldn’t be happier with the pup.
Thank you

Andy and I want to tell you how much we absolutely love Pepper. She is incredibly smart and for a 6 month old mali puppy extremely well behaved. We went into this knowing we were getting a high drive dog and were prepared to put in the time. We have been using Michael Ellis and Leerburg training methods with food and we are very pleased with how much she has learned. She has to work for everything she gets. Thank you for breeding such a wonderful dog.
A couple of questions 🙂
We don’t plan to breed her, is there an specific age you would recommend getting her fixed?
We are feeding her honest kitchen – dehydrated raw full diet with chicken necks. (3 necks each meal) She is about 33 lbs and looks very fit. I would like to start giving her bigger bones, chicken quarters and backs, but I am worried. She still swallows the chicken necks whole. What age would you recommend introducing larger pieces of raw meat?
Thanks so much for any advice you can offer. Kind regards,
Laurie
